Angulated Screw Channel
An angled screw channel allows us to adjust the position of the screw in your implant crown by up to 30 degrees. This adjustment is particularly useful for the front teeth, as it enables us to use screw-retained crowns instead of cemented crowns. Screw-retained crowns are generally better because they don’t use cement, which can sometimes irritate the surrounding tissue and lead to bone loss around the implant. Additionally, screw-retained crowns can be easily removed if necessary, for example, if the screw loosens or the crown is damaged. This makes it easier for us to maintain and repair your implant crown if needed.
