What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the friendly voice and face of our practice—answering phones, checking in patients, and providing outstanding service
• Confirm hygiene appointments and manage cancellations with care and professionalism
• Stay on top of voicemails, emails, and texts to ensure timely and compassionate communication
• Verify and update insurance information, ensuring patient accounts are accurate and current
• Keep the provider schedule full at least two weeks out, while auditing hygiene appointments for x-rays, treatment needs, and updated forms
• Help patients keep their records current—confirm contact info, collect forms, scan IDs/insurance cards, and capture photos for their chart
• Coordinate with outside offices to send and receive referrals and x-rays, and follow up to ensure continuity of care
• Assist with calling in prescriptions and checking the PMP site when needed
• Pitch in as part of the team—whether that means seating a patient, restocking the coffee bar, or folding laundry

Although not required, experience as a dental assistant is highly valued. If you have dental assisting skills, you’ll be even more of an asset to our team—and we’re happy to offer higher pay in recognition of that experience.
